Statistical Analysis and Predictive Modeling

Dr. Kjell Johnson is a statistician with extensive predictive modeling, applied statistics, and computational experience. He is a co-author of Applied Predictive Modeling (released May 2013), which has been acclaimed for its practical usefulness in tackling real predictive modeling problems across a range of applications and data set size (small and large). He has extensive expertise in R (co-authoring packages) and SAS and has developed a number of automated systems for data acquisition, statistical modeling, and visualization, towards the purpose of guiding critical decisions.

Dr. Johnson has 14 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, providing statistical support to areas such as Investigative and General Toxicology; Computational Chemistry; Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, and Metaolism; Biological Sciences; and Manufacturing. He is a co-founder of Arbor Analytics, LLC, a firm specializing in predictive modeling and statistical consulting.

Dr. Johnson holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Kentucky and has co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications.
